Time to do a Liver Cleanse

by DrLeAnne Deardeuff on June 13, 2013

Many years ago I had a lot of allergies. I was so bad that I walked around with a kerchief over my mouth and nose to filter the air coming into my body. I was a Sudafed addict.  And even that didn’t completely help. I was so sensitive to smells that I couldn’t walk down the soap aisle in the store. When it was time to clean the house, I had to sit in the car while my family used the household cleaners to clean. I would get nauseous and head-achy and weak. My eyes would weep and itch, my nose would run and I would sneeze. I was allergic to cats and dogs and birds and trees and grass and pollen and…. life was so miserable! Finally, my friend took me to a naturopathic physician who was once a Medical Surgeon. He decided there had to be another way rather than cutting organs out of people. He started researching if there was a way to clean them up and heal them. He taught me how to clean my colon then Liver Cleanse.

Most of the time allergies come from a congested liver. Allergies arise because there is too much protein in the blood. The excess proteins in the blood are from the body not digesting them and the liver not handling them correctly causing the blood to be too acidic.
The liver is located under the right ribs below the diaphragm. It is a pinkish-brown organ about the size of an American Football. It is not only the largest organ but also the largest gland in the body.
The liver has many functions some of which include producing and excreting bile. It makes but also breaks down carbohydrates. It can make sugars from proteins as well as fats. It stores glucose, vitamin D, vitamin A, B12, iron, copper and fats. It metabolizes proteins. It makes cholesterol and triglycerides. The liver produces substances for the clotting of blood. It also breaks down toxic substances and most medicinal products, excess red blood cells and other substances such as hormones in the body.
If the liver is not functioning properly not only can metabolism be affected but there can also be major hormonal imbalances in the body. Some of the following symptoms may indicate that the colon needs to be cleansed.
Sensitive to chemicals, perfumes, cleaning solvents, insecticides, exhaust, etc.
Sensitive to tobacco smoke
Bitter taste in mouth, esp. after meals
Hemorrhoids or varicose veins
Drink Alcoholic beverages
Recovering Alcoholic
History of hepatitis
History of drug abuse
Long term use of prescription meds or over-the-counter meds
Pain under right side of rib cage
Aspartame consumption
Hormonal imbalances
Sugar imbalances such as high or low blood sugar
Allergies

If these symptoms are some of the things that you are having an issue with then it is time to do a Liver Cleanse. Instructions are in “Inner transformations using Essential Oils”. Chapters 4 and 8.

Now is the perfect time to clean the colon and liver as the warmer weather that comes with the Spring will automatically start the body into cleansing on its own so we might as well work with it and assist it in its natural way!
